The upcoming Scottish Referendum – current discussion and possible impacts on trade
Joint event with the Deutsch-Britische Gesellschaft (DBG).
The Scottish Independence Referendum on 18 September 2014 is coming ever closer and the discussion not just in the UK is heating up. On the background of an increasing trend towards disintegration in Europe, as could be seen in the recent European elections, the BCCG in cooperation with the DBG has organised an informative speech and ensuing panel discussion on this topical matter. What are the main pro and cons of independence as articulated by the main protagonists? What would be the impact on the Scottish and British economies? Would a yes vote signal a further move towards disintegration in Europe?
