Business Breakfast: The future of LIBOR

Joint breakfast meeting with our Sponsoring Member Lloyds Bank.
The future of LIBOR has been a major discussion topic since
Andrew Bailey’s speech in July 2017. There has been significant
activity amongst certain market participants and industry bodies,
with working groups set up in the UK and globally to assess the
implications of moving to alternative benchmarks.
This session will explore the background of the changes, recent
developments and potential replacements for LIBOR. We will discuss
market activity and impacts since July 2017, and analyse some of the
practical challenges of transitioning to a new benchmark.
This event will also be an opportunity to understand the latest
insights and network with companies across different markets, each
with their own challenges arising from this process.
