Key information for UK nationals in Germany

IMPORTANT: Action required by 30 June 2021
UK nationals who were resident in Germany before 1 January 2021 have until 30 June 2021 to request their new residence card, which confirms their rights under the Withdrawal Agreement.

In addition to requesting a new residence document (Aufenthaltsdokument-GB) UK nationals should:
1. Exchange your UK driving licence for a German one
2. Check your passport validity
