Together with our member German Business Hub, we cordially invite you and your colleagues to our first Stammtisch in Edinburgh:

German Business Stammtisch Edinburgh 2026

Date: Monday, 2 November 2026
Time: 18:00 h GMT
Location: The Parliament Arms, 67 Canongate, Edinburgh EH8 8BT, UK

We are delighted that David McAllister, Member of the European Parliament for the CDU, will join us as guest speaker. David McAllister has been a Member of the European Parliament since 2014 and has chaired its Committee on Foreign Affairs since 2017. He previously served as Minister-President of Lower Saxony from 2010 to 2013 and brings extensive experience in European affairs, international relations and UK-German relations. He also chairs the European Parliament’s UK Contact Group.

The Stammtisch will bring together members of the German-British business and professional community from Edinburgh and beyond in a relaxed and informal setting. It will be an opportunity to make new connections, exchange ideas and engage with Konrad Adenauer Foundation and the German Consulate General Edinburgh. We will delve into discussions on business, politics and the bilateral relationship between the UK and Germany.

Whether you are an established professional in the region or new to Edinburgh, we would be delighted to welcome you.

Attendance is complimentary. If you would like to join us, please register for the event.

We hope to see you there and look forward to an enjoyable and engaging evening.
