Our experts:
Jen Gennai is a globally recognized authority in Responsible AI, AI Ethics, and AI Risk Management. As the Head of Responsible AI at T3, Jen has established herself as one of the foremost voices in the industry, pioneering efforts to integrate ethical considerations into AI development on a large scale.
Jen’s career is marked by her foundational role at Google, where she founded and led the Responsible Innovation team – one of the first initiatives globally to implement AI principles that prioritize fairness, privacy, safety, and societal benefit. Under her leadership, the team collaborated with product and engineering teams to ensure that AI systems aligned with these ethical commitments, addressing critical issues such as racial justice, gender equity, and human rights.
A key achievement in her illustrious career is co-authoring Google’s AI Principles in 2017, which have since become a benchmark for ethical AI development across the tech industry. These principles guide AI initiatives at Google, emphasizing accountability, fairness, and the avoidance of biased or harmful outcomes.
Jen’s influence extends beyond corporate walls. She has been a leading voice at international forums like Davos, the World Economic Forum, and UNESCO, where she has advocated for responsible AI practices. Her expertise has also shaped key regulatory frameworks, including the EU AI Act, UK Safety Principles, G7 Code of Conduct, OECD AI Principles, and NIST guidelines.
Dr Lina Böcker, Partner at Osborne Clarke based in Berlin, is a well experienced lawyer for IT law, IP protection of software and tech work products, as well as Artificial Intelligence and one of the few experts in the field of open-source software (OSS) compliance. She advises a broad range of clients from software developers to international OEMs and public research institutions on all aspects of software protection and compliance.
Lina’s focus is on advising clients in the Automotive sector, as well as general tech clients (i.e. software producing companies) on intellectual property and regulatory questions.
Lina was admitted to the bar in 2011. After having spent nine years (thereof more than five years as a partner) at a Berlin based boutique law firm for IT law, she joined Osborne Clarke in 2022 as a partner.
Maximilian Bodamer, Associate at Osborne Clarke based in Berlin, advises national and international companies in the areas of IT and copyright law.
Maximilian specialises in advising companies in the tech, media and retail sectors, with a particular focus on technology contracts and artificial intelligence (especially on the protection of intellectual property and regulatory questions).
Maximilian studied law in Mainz. During his legal traineeship, he worked for the State Commissioner for Data Protection Rhineland-Palatinate, Osborne Clarke in Berlin and a leading international law firm in Barcelona.
