The evening will welcome the newly elected Mayor of Dortmund, Alexander Kalouti, accompanied by representatives from Dortmund’s rapidly growing AI, technology, research, sports and business sectors.

Dortmund is emerging as one of Germany’s most dynamic innovation hubs, bringing together cutting-edge research, a thriving startup landscape, and strong industrial partnerships. The evening offers a unique opportunity to meet the city’s leadership and learn how Dortmund is positioning itself as a gateway for international cooperation in technology, science, and business.

A special highlight of the evening will be the participation of representatives from Borussia Dortmund, one of Europe’s most renowned football clubs. As a global ambassador for the city, Borussia Dortmund represents the importance of the sports industry as a key pillar of Dortmund’s identity and economy, illustrating how sport, business, and innovation come together to shape the city’s international profile.

The stammtisch will be catered by award-winning chef Stefan Pappert and his company Drei Löwen Chefs, serving German favourites – including Currywurst and beer – bringing a taste of Dortmund to London.
