Together with our member DAC Beachcroft we are inviting you and your colleagues cordially to our webinar:
UK Immigration update for German businesses-
The significant changes to the UK’s Immigration system happening in 2024
Date: Wednesday, 27 March 2024
Time: 10:00 h – 11:00 h CET
Location: Online via MS Teams
During 2024, we will see a number of key developments within UK immigration that could impact German businesses. The UK Government is increasing the salary thresholds for work based visas by 50% increase to try to restrict the numbers of people who can get visas to work in the UK. This will have a major effect on German businesses sending workers into the UK. There has also been changes to the activities that a visitor can do in the UK and the Government are rolling out the Electronic Travel Authorisation Scheme to all travellers, including those from Germany, by the end of 2024.
Joanna Hunt, a Partner and Head of Immigration at DAC Beachcroft will be hosting a webinar to go through these changes in depth. The session will cover;
– The changes to the Skilled Worker salary limits
– The new ‘Immigration Salary List’ which will replace the ‘Shortage Occupation List’
– The impact of the salary changes on new entrants and graduates
– Developments in prevention of illegal working
– Changes to the immigration rules for business visits
– The new Electronic Travel Authorisation scheme or ‘ETA’
