There will be two complementary perspectives on sanctions compliance:
– Fazal Ali Ahmad who is a Sanctions Specialist at Allianz Commercial (and co-chairing the YBCCG in Northern Germany) will provide expert insights covering the different types of sanctions, key UK and EU regulatory expectations, recent U.S. geopolitical developments including secondary sanctions, as well as an overview of high risk regions and sectors and practical compliance steps for businesses.
– EY This will be followed by an industry perspective from EY’s advisory team. Drawing on practical experience, it will highlight key compliance challenges and share real-world risk scenarios with the purpose to show how companies can navigate the complexity and how they can strengthen their internal frameworks – from advisory and training to regulatory and legal support.
