The Crisis Management Playbook – A True War Story
Experience a compelling case study of a German automotive supplier’s journey through corporate crisis. This presentation takes you through the entire lifecycle of a complex restructuring case – from initial liquidity challenges to stakeholder negotiations, through insolvency proceedings, and ultimately to a successful M&A process. Drawing from real-world experience, Markus Labahn shares critical insights into crisis causes, decision-making processes, and key success factors in distressed situations. This engaging “war story” combines professional expertise with practical lessons learned and first-hand experiences in crisis management.
Markus Labahn
Markus Labahn is Senior Manager in PwC’s Restructuring practice in Hamburg. He holds a master’s degree in industrial engineering (M.Sc.) from TU Berlin and has been supporting companies in crisis situations for ten years, initially focusing on the maritime industry and more recently on automotive suppliers. His work covers the full spectrum of crisis management – from restructuring opinions and Independent Business Reviews to liquidity planning and insolvency proceedings.
