Scaling Scottish Innovation across borders in Partnership with Germany
Date: Friday, 6. February 2026
Time: 09:30 h GMT
Location: Barclays Clyde Place, 52 Clyde Pl, Kinning Park, Glasgow, Scotland – G5 8AQ, United Kingdom
Scotland’s thriving startup economy, underpinned by a dynamic ecosystem and world-class knowledge community, has established the country as a European leader in artificial intelligence research and innovation. Yet business links with Germany remain limited, with investors focused on London and the Oxford–Cambridge corridor while Scottish startups overlook Germany’s opportunities. This event convenes key stakeholders to highlight the potential of stronger Scotland–Germany connections, enabling startups to tap into Europe’s largest venture capital pools, partner with industrial leaders, and use Germany as a gateway to wider EU and global markets—diversifying investment sources and accelerating Scotland’s role as a global hub for AI and advanced technology.
