Politics, business and society have always been concerned with securing energy supply, the lifeblood of every manufacturing industry and guarantor of national economies’ prosperity. It is necessary to take measures that, on the one hand, do not lose sight of the goal of reducing harmful greenhouse gases, but, on the other hand, do not endanger the future of Europe’s industrial locations – also on the other side of the Channel.
