Rainer M. Giersch is a founding partner of Accordo Partners Ltd., a UK firm with over two decades of experience advising on, developing and implementing direct investment campaigns for international business development organisations (RDAs), particularly in Canada and the UK.

• High-tech manufacturing industries including aerospace
• Renewable energy and environmental technologies, especially wind energy, including relevant supply chains
• Marine, Ocean Energy & Technologies

Rainer is Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the IFT – Institute for Telecommunications AG and was guest lecturer at the University of Hamburg. He is a member of the Board of the British Chamber of Commerce in Germany and Chairman of the Chamber’s Regional Committee Northern Germany. Rainer is also a member of the committee of the German-Canadian Business Club Hamburg, the German-Canadian Society and the Maritime Finance Research Group, a Hamburg based university-linked research unit.
